Trip Report September 18th Aboard the Spectre Dive Boat. Temperature in water 72 Average 70 at Depth, Air Temp 85 and Sunny, Swell 2 Feet
No Current on this day out with Many of the Hollywood divers Regulars and some Newcomers. Some Wore 5MM Wetsuits, Some Wore 3 MM with Hooded Vests. It was Warm.
Dive Sites - Dive 1 - Cat Rock Dive 2 - Goldfish Bowl Dive 3 - Winfield Scott/ Wizards Hat
Sept. 18th was Bill Stong Day, The 2 Year Anniversay of Bill's Passing from Lung Cancer.
We saw Sea Lions, Leopard sharks, Moray Eel and The Kelp was still hanging on.
Best of all the Visibility was 60 to 80 feet

You Must have a License. Freediving- Breath Hold is Allowed if you are Experienced and Conditions are Calm, you Might get some bugs. This Activity is Dangerous and should not be done unless you are an experienced cold water, surf savvy free diver . Remember, you can buy Lobster in any number of Seafood Markets or Grocery Stores in So Cal. No Lobster Tail is more important than your life.
